Ancestor to Zomato Guy

 hi !!

Good evening,

Let's have a small snack chat. I feel like eating some sweet- some kaaram(spice) together.

To satisfy my craving I go with hot Katchori with tomato ketchup loaded in it,

what about you?

Would you like to eat Katchori with me?

Yeah, I can hear you saying big YESS

Let me order it...

(Scrolling through Zomato, and ordered it from the nearby famous Delhi Mithai Wala)

pov: notifications popping up

..........(Order accepted, your delivery partner is on his way to pick up your order)

..........( Your order will be delivered in 5 Mins)

And finally,

The Zomato guy handed my order to me.

Opened the order and grabbed hot kachori, poured lots of tomato ketchup into it, and gobbled it

That taste of hot layered kachori filled with some spicy masala mixture and tomato ketchup topping on it makes the bite exciting. And, green chili to the side makes it an extra spicy bite.

yummmm....No words... Just kachori vibes.

After having an exciting snack........I grabbed a book " 11 Rules for Life" and started reading.

That's it for this frame.

Will meet you in the next frame

I am back with another interesting talk about a Zomato guy. While reading the book " 11 Rules for Life" by Chetan Bhagat, some thoughts struck me about 'how access to food has evolved over a few decades with growing technology'?

This is not a review of the book.

While I was going through the story of Zomato Guy, In the middle of it, I started thinking about the "Hunt-Gather" process we follow from our ancestors to the modern era. I feel like the "Hunt-Gather" concept is the same to date but the environment around the process has gradually shaped into a new perspective.

Food is one of the most crucial aspects for the survival of human beings, access to food was really hard for our ancestors. Let's think about how our ancestors had access to food. Without very second thought we all know naturally grown forest is their source of food. If they want food they go into the forest and gather some fruits or nuts, if they don't find fruits or nuts, they hunt animals and feed their families.

And coming to this modern era,  forests are being replaced with concrete restaurants, fast food centers, and supermarkets. If we feel hungry, everything is in our hands, just a tap away. Open Zomato or Swiggy or some other app, scroll over the items, select the things, and place an order, That's it. In a few minutes, your order will be delivered to your doorsteps.

Zomato is now "Gathering" all the restaurants and supermarkets in an app, and "Hunting" for the selected item in restaurants nearby your location, and delivering it to your doorsteps.

.........."Bell-Ringing"

Dinner arrived. Okay bye!

Does that make sense?
